28 June 2017 14:00:00 Posted By Felix

Wayne Thorne finished the season unbeaten on route to lifting the Season 4 Smirnoff title in the Shootpool Blackball Singles League.

Wayne ended his season with a 6-3 victory over Shootpool Snipers teammate Richard Ilsley, giving him ten wins from then on the season.

The match was a topsy-turvy match, with all frames won in threes as Wayne won the opening and final three frames of the match, with Richard winning the middle three that originally leveled the match at 3-3.

Richard finished his season with a 6-3 defeat of Sue Latham, winning the opening four frames on route to victory.

Congratulations to Wayne for winning the title and to his fellow Shootpool Snipers teammate Jack Mason who finished as runner-up.
