The qualifying weeks have been played and the eight qualifiers for Finals Week of the inaugural Big League are set.
They are led by Shelley McDermott who won the final weekly competition, beating Keith Jones 4-1 in the final, leaving him with four weekly competition wins and two losses in the finals from his six played weeks.
Julian Lefevre, with two weekly competition wins and two final losses, finished in second.
Peter Ward and Chris Eley who had already all but qualified after Week 8 were third and fourth respectively, whilst Gary O'Connor and David Feore were the next two qualifiers after earning enough points this past week.
Keith Jones only played in three of the nine weekly competitions, but with two wins and a loss in the final in Week 9, he earned enough points to qualify in seventh place.
And the last qualifier is Ricky Turner, who just scraped over the line when rival Jamie Whittaker lost in the Week 9 semi-finals where a place in the final would have seen Jamie pip Ricky instead.
