ShootBuca 9-3 The Chicklayers

ShootBuca 100% start to the league season continued, as they made it 4 wins in 4 matches and extended their lead to six points after a routine 9-3 win against bottom side The Chicklayers. Tom Watts gave ShootBuca the lead before Julie Curran equalised. Wins for Mike Hurst and Paul Court then made it 3-1, before a win for Val Batey halves the deficit. Nel Hoff the won a consolation frame for The Chicklayers, before a second win for Tom and a win for Tracy Playford wrapped up the 9-3 win for ShootBuca.

The White Swan 7-5 Cotton Eyed Joes

The White Swan stay in second place, but fell a further two points behind the leaders after edging to a close 7-5 win against Cotton Eyed Joes, who themselves drop to 4th. It was a bad start for the home side, as Ryan Burgess, Tonya Heap and Chris Boggon all won for Cotton Eyed Joes to give them a 3-0 lead. But The White Swan fought back well, and won the next seven frames without reply to completely turn the match around, and claim the win. In that run of seven, there was two wins each for Stuart Robertson and Mark Rudge, as well as a win each for James Edney, Will Hammond and Georgina Powell. From 7-3 down, Tony Coote and Zenya Heap did both win for Cotton Eyed Joes, but it wasn't enough to avoid defeat.

Weavers Warriors 7-5 The Feathers

Weavers Warriors moved up to 3rd place in the table after they won 7-5 against 5th placed The Feathers. Michael Bailey, Adam Stoker and Adrian Barrett all gave Weavers Warriors the lead in the first half, but each time they fell behind, The Feathers equalised, thanks to wins for Steve Loudon, Ant Purdey and Joe Tite. Second wins for Steve and Adam pushed the score on to 4-4, before wins for Wayne Turney and Scott Warner gave Weavers Warriors a 6-4 lead. A second win for Ant gave The Feathers a chance for the draw, but Weavers Warriors captain Adrian won the final frame to win the match 7-5.
