The top of the AIPL Premier remained the exact same this week, as the top two sides both won 8-4 to keep a four-point gap between the sides. Two wins each for Keith Jones and Paul Kanchanlall gave leaders New Zealand "B" the 8-4 win against The Roths, meanwhile SP Blacks recorded the same scoreline against Shootpool Sharks, with two each for Mike Chappell and Andy Taylor. Shootpool 'A' are up to 3rd place in the table as they won their fourth game in six, winning 7-5 against New Zealand 'A'. Elsewhere, The Rothschild Arms stay in 5th after they were held to a 6-6 draw by The Brickslayers, and The Arigators are in 6th after winning 8-4 against SP Bullets.

New Zealand "B" 8-4 The Roths

New Zealand "B" maintained their four point lead at the top of the division with a 8-4 against bottom side The Roths. Keith Jones, Larry Baker and Julian Lefevre all won early on to give the league leaders a 3-0 lead, before The Roths captain Vince King got his team off the mark. New Zealand "B" led 5-1 at half time after wins for Paul Kanchanlall and Ade Lansdown, before Rory Sore pulled one back for The Roths. A second win for Keith and a win for Brian Keeble extended the home lead to 7-2, before Vince won his second of the night. A second of the night for Ade made it 8-3, before Neil Roberts won the final frame for the away side.

Shootpool Sharks 4-8 SP Blacks

SP Blacks stayed in second, but won 8-4 against 4th placed Shootpool Sharks. SP Blacks led twice early on through Mike Chappell and Paul Ives, but both times Shootpool Sharks levelled, thanks to David Feore and Chris Mottau. But SP Blacks took control of the game from there, as two wins for Andy Taylor, a second of the match for Chappell, and wins each for Adam Jackow and Peter Ward saw them take a 7-2 lead. A second for Chris made it 7-3, before Dave Green won for SP Blacks and Robert Mutch won for Shootpool Sharks late on.

Shootpool 'A' 7-5 New Zealand 'A'

Shootpool 'A' are up to 3rd place in the table after a narrow 7-5 win over New Zealand 'A', who drop to 8th place. The away side did take the lead through Dennis Walton, but Shootpool 'A' were ahead soon after thanks to wins for Justin Hooley and Jon Eley, only for New Zealand 'A' captain Brian Lopez to level the match at 2-2. A win for James Connor and a second win for Justin sandwiched an awarded frame, as Shootpool 'A' went 5-2 up, but wins for Mark Frost, Ricky Turner and Kingsley Dudley got New Zealand 'A' right back in the match. But another awarded frame, and a win late on for Richard Ilsley, gave Shootpool 'A' the narrow victory.

The Rothschild Arms 6-6 The Brickslayers

The Rothschild Arms remain in 5th place after they were held to a 6-6 by The Brickslayers, who move up to 7th with the result. Neil Bartholomew gave the away side the lead, before David Gray and Dan McIntyre both won to see The Rothschild Arms lead 2-1. After Jason Hoff equalised, The Rothschild Arms captain Stephen Smith made it 3-2, but all was level at half time thanks to a win for Lars Bjart. A second win for David made it 4-3 to the home side, but The Brickslayers won the next three frames for a 6-4 lead, thanks to a win for Stephen Page and second wins on the night for Jason and Neil. Late on, The Rothschild Arms rescued the draw though, thanks to a win for Paul Mart and a second for Stephen.

The Arigators 8-4 SP Bullets

Finally, The Arigators stay in 6th spot after a decent 8-4 win against second-bottom SP Bullets. Phil Crow, Kevin Smith and Steve Smith all won for The Arigators early on, before Amber Carter got SP Bullets off the mark at 3-1. Nigel Playford and Graham Spencer then both won to extend The Arigators lead to 5-1 at half time, before Wayne Thorne pulled a frame back for SP Bullets. Despite a second win for Amber for the away side, a win for Jason Harper and second wins for Nigel and Kevin got The Arigators over the win line, before Elliot Riley won the final frame for SP Bullets.
