The 13-game winning run for New Zealand "B" was ended this week, but their unbeaten league season is still intact, after the league leaders were held to a 6-6 draw by bottom side The Roths. It was who The Roths who started better, taking a 2-0 lead, before six wins in seven frames, including two for Jamie Whittaker, had New Zealand "B" in control, but The Roths came back from 6-3 down to claim the much-needed draw.

Two wins each for Mike Chappell and Andy Taylor prove the difference between the sides as 2nd placed SP Blacks narrowly edged past 3rd placed Shootpool Sharks 7-5. Gordon Sweeney won twice in reply for Shootpool Sharks.

The Rothschild Arms stay in fourth place, as two wins for David Gray and Stephen Smith saw them win 7-5 away from home against The Brickslayers, who stay in 6th. The Rothschild Arms led 4-0 at one point, but The Brickslayers fought back well to keep the defeat to a minimum.

SP Bullets stormed out of the relegation zone in style as they claimed a resounding 9-3 victory against The Arigators, to move above them and into 7th place, that saw Wayne Thorne, Ryan Englefield and Daniel Englefield all win twice on the night.

And finally, 5th placed Shootpool 'A' drew 6-6 with New Zealand 'A', who despite not being beat, drop into the relegation zone due to other results. Two wins for John McLernon helped New Zealand 'A' into a 5-3 lead, before Shootpool 'A' rattled off the next three frames to lead 6-5, but a second of the night for Kingsley Dudley rescued the draw for the hosts.
