In a nervy final week, Washington Weavers claimed the Division 2 title this week, despite being held to a 6-6 draw by 3rd placed Dairy Maid Krazies, as New Dairy Maid's title aspirations ended with a 8-4 defeat away to 5th placed Cotton Eyed Johns. The final match saw 4th placed Misfits win 8-4 against 6th placed The Feathers.

Washington Weavers are Division 2 champions, but were made to wait as they rescued a 6-6 draw with 3rd placed Dairy Maid Krazies. Despite leading 4-2 at half time, they found themselves 6-5 down and needed a second win on the night for Jarrad Cross to rescue the draw. Earlier in the match, there was double wins for Washington Weavers' Nathan McCleary and Dairy Maid Krazies' Rupert Hawthorne.

New Dairy Maid's needed to beat the Washington Weavers by two frames, but were not able to do so as they ended their season with a 8-4 defeat away to 5th placed Cotton Eyed Johns. For the home side, there was two wins on the night for Jake Bartlett, Dave Coleman and captain Zenya Heap.

4th placed Misfits ended their season on a positive note, as they were 8-4 winners against 6th placed The Feathers. Two awarded frames and two wins for Misfits' Alan Carter was the difference between the two sides on the night. In reply, there was two wins for The Feathers captain Vicky Friston, but it wasn't enough to affect the overall result.

MOST WINS

Grant Mullender's win in the second half of the final match secured him the Most Wins award for Division 2, with 27 wins and 9 losses for the season, at a win rate of 75%. Division 2 Knockout winner Jarrad Cross finished just one win behind, on 26-6, alongside Stephen Vallance, who ended with 26-8. Grant's New Dairy Maid team mate Calvin Baldwin ended 4th on 23 wins, and Washington Weavers' Gary Prince completed the top five on 22 wins.
