Blacks/Blues 100% in A, as Fubar Whitewash in B

SP Blacks and Shootpool Blues remain the two sides 100% in Group A after they had a 9-2 and an awarded 11-0 respectively. Shit A Brick are up to fourth with a narrow 6-5 win against The Vic Club, meanwhile Weavers' Beavers & Balls and The Dairy Maid are in a tie for fifth place after both securing 6-5 home victories over Cottonwheelers and Wonky Monkey respectively.

Fubar got the first played 11-0 whitewash of the summer against Summer Chicks, but remain second on frame difference behind Wacky Waving sMipers, who also won 10-1 this week. The Roths stay in third place with a 7-4 home win against Dairy Maid Krazies, Honey Bee Stingerz are in fourth after beating Ari Potters 9-2, and Shootpool are up to fifth after coming back from 5-2 down to win against Misfits.

GROUP A

SP Blacks remain top of Group A with a 9-2 win against previously unbeaten We All Need Kev, as Mike Chappell, Andy Taylor, Peter Ward and Tye Edwards all won twice for the league leaders.

Shootpool Blues are also still 100% after they were awarded an 11-0, after Top John were unable to fulfil the fixture.

Shit A Brick moved up to fourth with a narrow 6-5 win against The Vic Club. The scores were tied 5-5, with Darren Stone and Oliver Burgess winning twice for The Vic Club and Andy Hutchinson with two for Shit A Brick, before the pair of Andrew Holmes and Aide Newsome won the scotch doubles decider for Shit A Brick.

Weavers' Beavers & Balls are in a tie for fifth place after two wins for Chris Boggon helped them to a narrow 6-5 win against Cottonwheelers, who had Angus Kay winning twice for them in reply.

Also in joint fifth are The Dairy Maid, who enjoyed a 6-5 win against Wonky Monkey. Two wins for Grant Mullender helped The Dairy Maid into a 6-1 lead before Wonky Monkey won the final few frames to keep the defeat to a minimum.

GROUP B

Fubar claimed the first whitewash of this season's Summer League, as they claimed a perfect 11-0 win against winless Summer Chicks. There was two wins each for Joe Mcloughlin, Robert Mutch, Gordon Sweeney, Martin Langley and David Feore.

Wacky Waving sMipers remain at the top of the group on frame difference after a convincing 10-1 home win against The Feathers, with Jamie Whittaker, Stacy Smith, Paul Kanchanlall, Justin Hooley and the unbeaten Chris Eley.

Two wins each for Dan Hare and Lewis Richards helped The Roths maintain their grip on third spot with a 7-4 home win over Dairy Maid Krazies, despite Steve Williams' double for the visitors.

Honey Bee Stingerz moved into fourth place with a decent 9-2 win against Ari Potters, with Stephen Page, Tim White and Jeremy Collins all winning twice on the night for the hosts.

And finally, Misfits squandered 4-0 and 5-2 leads, which included two wins for debutant Tony Greevie, as Shootpool fought back brilliantly to win 6-5 on the scotch doubles frame. After two each for Mike Collins and Adam Green, the pair of Taylor Christy and Tony Collins won the decider.
