There was no change at the top of Division 1 table this week after all 4 fours teams played each other, and all drew with each other, with top side Shootpool Blues getting a 6-6 draw away to 3rd placed Top John, and 2nd placed The Roths drew 6-6 at home against 4th placed Dirty Ari. Elsewhere in the league, Washington Weavers moved up to 5th place with a 9-3 away win against 8th placed Wonky Shot, and Shootpool move up to 6th with a 9-3 home win against Dairy Maid 'A', who dropped to 7th.

Top John 6-6 Shootpool Blues

Honours were even as top side Shootpool Blues claimed a 6-6 draw away to 3rd placed Top John, in a topsy turvy match that could have gone either way. Despite Shootpool Blues leading 2-0 early on, it was Top John who found themselves in a 4-2 up at half time. A second win for Ali Munro was the catalyst for a Shootpool Blues comeback, but they couldn't convert the 6-5 lead into a win, as Top John won the final frame to claim the draw.

The Roths 6-6 Dirty Ari

2nd placed The Roths could not take advantage of the above draw, as they also drew their game this week, drawing 6-6 at home against 4th placed Dirty Ari. Vince King won two frames on the night for The Roths, but a second for Phil Crow in the final frame rescued the draw for Dirty Ari.

Wonky Shot 3-9 Washington Weavers

Washington Weavers moved up to 5th place, as they completed a clean sweep 6-0 first half on their way to a 9-3 away win against 8th placed Wonky Shot. In the second half, second wins for George Reilly, Nathan McCleary and Jarrad Cross made sure of the victory for the visitors.

Shootpool 9-3 Dairy Maid 'A'

The final game of the division saw Shootpool win the final five frames of the match to move up to 6th place in the table with a 9-3 home win against Dairy Maid 'A', who dropped to 7th. There was also two wins each for Shootpool trio Nathan Brooks, Teresa Collins and Ben Collins.

Looking Ahead...

The AIPL Singles takes place over the next two weeks, but league matches return on the 16th November with Week 5, and leaders Shootpool Blues return with an away day against bottom side Kennedy GC, with all the chasing pack all facing off. 2nd placed The Roths host 5th placed Washington Weavers, and 3rd placed Top John are at home against 4th placed Dirty Ari. The other game sees 7th placed Dairy Maid 'A' travel to take on 8th placed Wonky Shot, while 6th placed Shootpool have their bye week.
