Hot Shots 6-6 Nomads

Hot Shots made it back to the top of the Division 2 table, but have now played a game more than the chasing pack, and were held this week to a 6-6 draw by 4th placed Nomads. Hot Shots led 3-1 early on, but four straight frames for Nomads swung the match around. A second win on the night for Owen Garland was one of three straight frame wins for Hot Shots, but could not get over the win line, as a second win for Tony Ruggiero Jnr rescued the draw for the visitors.

The C Team 8-4 Ari Potters

A four-frame winning run in each half was enough for The C Team, who won 8-4 at home against 5th placed Ari Potters, to move up into 3rd spot in the table. There was two wins each for The C Team trio of John Donnelly, Chris Avery and Ryan Chandler, and Ari Potters captain Vicky Friston won two in reply as well.

Dairy Maid Krazies 6-6 The Feathers

The second draw of the gameweek came down at the Dairy Maid, as 6th placed Dairy Maid Krazies were held to a 6-6 draw with The Feathers, who moved off the bottom of the table with the draw and up into 8th place. Both sides took the lead at varying points of the game, and when Steve Williams and Rupert Hawthorne had both won for the second time, the hosts led 6-4, but second wins for James Shields and Sid Singh rescued the draw for The Feathers.

The Ari Chicks 4-8 Misfits

The final game of the week saw 7th placed Misfits win 8-4 away from home against bottom side The Ari Chicks. As well as the visitors being awarded two frames due to a lack of players, there was two wins each for Misfits pair Tony Festa and Alan Carter, and also for Dee Adams in reply for The Ari Chicks.

Looking Ahead...

The penultimate gameweek of 2022 sees the top 3 sides all travel for away games. Leaders Hot Shots play their last game of the year travelling to 8th placed The Feathers before they have their bye week the week after. Meanwhile, second placed Weavers' Beavers & Balls are away against 7th placed Misfits, and 3rd placed The C Team travel to bottom side The Ari Chicks. With 6th placed Dairy Maid Krazies on their bye week, the final match sees 4th placed Nomads host 5th placed Ari Potters.
