Kennedy GC 1-11 Dirty Ari

With the league leaders Shootpoool Blues not playing due to their match being postponed, it gave Dirty Ari the chance to take top spot in the table with a win, and they took full advantage, winning 11-1 against bottom side Kennedy GC to open up a 12-point lead at the top of the table. Phil Crow, Kevin Smith, Steve Smith, Jason Harper and Paul Freshwater all won twice on the night for Dirty Ari, who won 11 straight frames, before Kennedy GC avoided the whitewash in the final frame.

Wonky Shot 3-9 Shootpool

Shootpool kept up their recent run of good form, as they won their third match in a row this week, as they secured a decent 9-3 away win against 8th placed Wonky Shot. During the match, Shootpool had Mike Collins, Adam Green, Teresa Collins and Ben Collins all winning both of their frames on the night, as did Dominic Whittaker in reply for Wonky Shot.

Top John 4-8 Dairy Maid 'A'

Draw specialists Dairy Maid 'A' finally went one better this week as they won in the league for the first time this season, winning 8-4 away from home against Top John, who drop to 5th place. For the visitors, Grant Mullender, Keira Fitzsimmons, Frank Bruce and Paul Harker all won twice on the night.

Shootpool Blues P-P Washington Weavers

The match between former leaders Shootpool Blues and 7th placed Washington Weavers was postponed and will be played at a later date.

Gameweek 8 sees the top two sides face away days, with leaders Dirty Ari away to 7th placed Washington Weavers, and 2nd placed Shootpool Blues visiting 6th placed Dairy Maid 'A'.
