Shootpool Sharks 4-8 SP Blacks

League leaders SP Blacks overcame a major step in their quest for the Premier trophy, beating 3rd placed Shootpool Sharks 8-4 to maintain their position at the top of the table. Two wins each for Troy Brett and captain Dave Green was the difference between the two sides on the night, with two wins for Steve Dutton the highlight for the hosts.

New Zealand "B" 9-3 The Vic Club

2nd placed New Zealand "B" closed the gap to the league leaders to just four points with a 9-3 home win over bottom side The Vic Club. The hosts raced into a 5-0 lead early on, and second wins for Keith Jones, Doug Campbell and Ade Lansdown made sure of the comprehensive victory.

The Brickslayers 4-8 SP Bullets

4th placed SP Bullets took 3-0 and 8-2 leads on the way to an 8-4 away win against The Brickslayers, who drop into the bottom two with the defeat. On the night, there was two wins each for SP Bullets trio Kyle O'Brien, Sonnie O'Sullivan and Daniel Englefield.

Shootpool 'A' 8-4 Honey Bee Stingerz

Shootpool 'A' maintained their 5th place position in the table as they recorded their second win in three games, with a 8-4 home win over 8th placed Honey Bee Stingerz . After going 3-1 down early on, two wins each for James Connor, Richard Meek and Richard Herring helped the hosts win seven of the next eight frames to win 8-4.

The Rothschild Arms 4-8 New Zealand 'A'

The final match of the week saw New Zealand 'A' win 8-4 to move up into 7th place in the table, beating 6th placed The Rothschild Arms away from home. Two wins each for Mark Frost, Stephen Page and Kingsley Dudley got the job done for the visitors, despite two wins in reply for Daniel Marshall.

Division 1

Dirty Ari 8-4 The Roths

It was another good week for league leaders Dirty Ari, as they moved 11 points clear at the top of the table, with a game in hand as well, after they won 8-4 at home against 3rd placed The Roths. The trio of Jason Harper, Steve Smith and Graham Spencer all won twice on the night for the hosts.

Shootpool Blues 6-6 Top John

2nd placed Shootpool Blues lost ground in the race for the title after they were held to a 6-6 draw at home by 5th placed Top John. Despite taking a 2-0 lead, Shootpool Blues trailed 4-2 at half time, before Arron Flanagan and James Todd won their second of the night to level the game up at 4-4. The two sides then shared out the last four frames, which included a second win for Top John captain Jordan Maxwell Hoff.

Dairy Maid 'A' 6-6 Shootpool

There was another draw as 4th placed Shootpool drew 6-6 with Dairy Maid 'A', who moved up to 6th place in the table. Two wins for Andy Grounsell helped Shootpool into a 6-3 lead, but Dairy Maid 'A' rescued the draw, winning the last three frames, which included a second win on the night for Grant Mullender.

Division 2

Ari Potters 7-5 Weavers' Beavers & Balls

There was a surprise of sorts in Division 2, as 4th placed Ari Potters won 7-5 at home against league leaders Weavers' Beavers & Balls to inflict just the leaders' second defeat of the season. Things looked pretty normal at half time as Weavers' Beavers & Balls led 4-2, but Ari Potters then won the next five frames, which included a second of the night for Mark Wilkins, to secure the win.

Hot Shots 6-6 Dairy Maid Krazies

2nd placed Hot Shots missed a massive chance to put real pressure of the league leaders, after they were held to a 6-6 draw at home against 6th placed Dairy Maid Krazies. After trailing 4-2 at the half way stage, Hot Shots won the next four frames, including a second win on the night for Liam King, to lead 6-4, but Dairy Maid Krazies took the final two frames to finish the match as a draw.

Nomads 10-2 The Ari Chicks

5th placed Nomads racked up the frames this week with a resounding 10-2 home win over 8th placed The Ari Chicks. On a great night for the hosts, Pete Slaymaker, Tony Ruggiero, Maynard Holt and Tony Ruggiero Jnr all won both their frames of the night.

The Feathers 5-7 Misfits

The final match of the gameweek saw 7th placed Misfits edge past bottom side The Feathers 7-5 to win their third consecutive league match. On the night, there was two wins each for Misfits pair Tony Festa and Gary Prince.
