Top John 1-2 SP Blacks

(SP Blacks won 12-2 on aggregate)

Top seeds SP Blacks were unsurprisingly the first team through to the Summer League semi finals. With a 10-1 lead from the first leg, they just needed the two frames to secure passage through, and Troy Brett and Andy Taylor duly obliged by winning the two frames to give SP Blacks the 12-2 aggregate victory, and will now play venue rivals SP Bullets in the two-legged semi finals.

Phil's Enthusiasm Never Inspires Success 1-4 The New Zealand

(The New Zealand won 12-4 on aggregate)

After their 8-3 hom win last week in the first leg, second seeds The New Zealand were not far behind in qualfying for the semi finals either, claiming a routine 4-1 win on the night to win 12-4 on aggregate, thanks to wins for Keith Jones, Larry Baker, Paul Kanchanlall and Brian Keeble. The New Zealand will now face future venue rivals The Roths in the semi final stage.

The Roths 7-4 The Vic Club

(The Roths won won 12-10 on aggregate)

The only comeback from a first leg deficit came in this match, as The Roths came back from 6-5 down after the first leg to win 7-4 in the second leg against The Vic Club, to claim the 12-10 aggregate victory. Two wins for Kyle O'Brien had given The Vic Club both a 4-3 lead on the night, and a 10-8 lead overall, but The Roths fought back brilliantly, second wins for Glenn Baxter and Rory Sore gave the team of Stuart Ladyman and Darren Owen the chance to win it in the scotch doubles frame, to which they duly obliged, meaning The Roths now take on The New Zealand in the semis.

Fubar 5-4 SP Bullets

(SP Bullets won won 12-8 on aggregate)

SP Bullets brought an 6-5 lead from the first leg against Fubar, and despite two wins from Fubar's Martin Langley, SP Bullets got the job done thanks to wins for Mitch Lee, Ryan Englefield, James Connor and Wayne Thorne. After dispatching of last season's runners-up, it doesn't get any easier for SP Bullets in the semis, as they now face off against top seeds SP Blacks for a place in the Final.
