The Renegades 4-8 Vic 8-Ball

Vic 8-Ball still have the same five point lead at the top of Division 2 after they won 4-8 against The Renegades, who drop to 8th with the defeat. Vic 8-Ball went 5-0 up before The Renegades pulled a couple of frames back through a double for Rob Austin. But second wins for Simon Park and Pete Slaymaker helped Vic 8-Ball to the win in the second half.

The Feathers 4-8 Misfits

2nd placed Misfits matched the leaders' 8-4 score to remain five points behind, after they took a 4-0 lead to set up the away win against 6th placed The Feathers. After The Feathers pulled two back, Alan Carter won his second to extend the Misfits lead. Brian Montgomery won his second too to help reduce the deficit for The Feathers, but Misfits won the final two frames to claim the win, which included a second for Ross Robins.

Shoot 'Em Up 6-6 Dairy Maid Krazies

3rd placed Dairy Maid Krazies and 5th placed Shoot 'Em Up played out an even 6-6, with both sides winning a half 4-2. Dairy Maid Krazies took the first half 4-2, before two wins for Gareth Hart helped Shoot 'Em Up back into the match. Late second wins from Kevin Phillips and Nicky Miller put Dairy Maid Krazies on the verge of victory, before Jacob Surman won his first game for the Shoot 'Em Up to rescue the draw.

The C Team 9-3 Bees Knees

The C Team moved up to 4th place in the table after they picked up a 9-3 home win against 9th placed Bees Knees. The hosts won five in the first half to lead 5-1, before second wins of the match for Ryan Chandler and Angus Kay helped them extend that lead in the second half.

The Ari Chicks 9-0 The Partridge

The final match of the week saw The Ari Chicks get awarded the 9-0 win, after The Partridge were not able to field enough players to have a match. The win sees The Ari Chicks move up to 7th place in the table, and sees The Partridge move to the bottom of the pack after 4 games.

Looking Ahead...

The AIPL Singles takes centre stage for the next fortnight, but when the league returns in November, the top four are all in action against one another, as league leaders Vic 8-Ball host 4th placed The C Team, while 2nd placed Misfits travel to 3rd placed Dairy Maid Krazies. Elsewhere, 5th placed Shoot 'Em Up are away against bottom side The Partridge, and 6th placed The Feathers are also away to 8th placed The Renegades. The final match sees 7th placed The Ari Chicks travel to take on 9th placed Bees Knees.
