Vic 8-Ball 4-8 The C Team

League leaders Vic 8-Ball lost for the first time this season, though maintain top spot, after falling to an 8-4 home defeat against The C Team, who move up to third place in the table with the win, and find themselves only three points off the summit. Vic 8-Ball led three times in the first half, but from 3-2 down, The C Team fired back with five straight frame wins, which included second wins on the night for the duo of Ryan Chandler and Chris Avery. Simon Park won two in reply for Vic 8-Ball, but it wasn't enough to affect the overall outcome.

Dairy Maid Krazies 6-6 Misfits

With the leaders' defeat, Misfits missed the chance to take over top spot, after they were held to a 6-6 draw with 4th placed Dairy Maid Krazies, who have become used to draws of late, with four draws in the opening five matches. Each side won a half 4-2, with Misfits winning the first half, before Dairy Maid Krazies caught up in the second. During the match, Richard Bentley and Alex Slater won both of their frames for Dairy Maid Krazies.

The Partridge 6-6 Shoot 'Em Up

5th placed Shoot 'Em Up and 9th placed The Partridge also played out a 6-6 draw this week. Two awarded frames due to Shoot 'Em Up not having enough players seemed to cost the visitors the victory, though the trio of Gareth Hart, Jacob Surman and captain Nicola Court all won twice to make sure of the draw for Shoot 'Em Up.

The Renegades 6-6 The Feathers

6-6 was clearly the score of the night in Division 2, as 8th placed The Renegades and 6th placed The Feathers were the third pair of teams to end their match on a level playing field. In a close match throughout, both sides drew each half 3-3, with two wins each for Billy Tottle, Rudy Whiteman and James Shields putting The Feathers 6-4 up, before The Renegades won the final two to claim the draw, which included a second win of the night for captain Dhanesh Ramdoyal.

Bees Knees 3-9 The Ari Chicks

The final game of the week definitely did not end as a draw, as 7th placed The Ari Chicks claimed an impressive 9-3 away win against bottom side Bees Knees. During the match, The Ari Chicks quartet of Nel Hoff, Adrian Barrett, Victoria Page and Gary Batey all were double-winners on the night.

Week 6 will see league leaders look to bounce back after their first league defeat as they ctravel away to take on 7th placed The Ari Chicks, with the following pack all facing sides in the bottom half of the table. 2nd placed Misfits host 9th placed The Partridge, 3rd placed The C Team host 8th placed The Renegades, 4th placed Dairy Maid Krazies face an away day at 6th placed The Feathers, and finally 5th placed Shoot 'Em Up host bottom side Bees Knees.
