Vic 8-Ball maintained their position at the top of the division, after they claimed an 8-4 away win against 7th placed The Ari Chicks. The two sides shared out the first six frames evenly, before Vic 8-Ball went up a gear in the second half, winning five of the final six frames to claim the win, a run that included second wins on the night for Tony Ruggiero Jnr and Simon Park.

Misfits 8-4 The Partridge

Misfits remained in 2nd place, and also stay two points off the leaders after they also won 8-4 at home against 9th placed The Partridge. Misfits raced into a 4-0 lead before The Partridge got off the mark. Misfits then went 7-1 up before The Partridge won the next three, but there was still time for Misfits captain Tony Festa to claim his second of the night in the final frame.

The C Team 8-4 The Renegades

3rd placed The C Team also won 8-4 this week, so remain three points off the top of the table, with a home victory over 8th placed The Renegades. The Renegades led twice in the first half before the half ended with the scores level at 3-3. The C Team then won five of the final six to claim the victory, with Angus Kay winning both his frames on the night for his side.

Shoot 'Em Up 8-4 Bees Knees

The same score line continued in this match as well, as Shoot 'Em Up moved up into 4th place in the table after an 8-4 home victory against the current bottom side of the division, Bees Knees. Shoot 'Em Up started the match well, moving into a 3-0, before eventually leading 4-2 at the break. Second wins on the night for Gareth Hart, Jack Stewart and captain Nicola Court then helped Shoot 'Em Up into an 8-2 lead, before Bees Knees won the final two frames.

The Feathers 9-3 Dairy Maid Krazies

The Feathers bucked the 8-4 trend of the week, managing an extra frame win as they won 9-3 at home against Dairy Maid Krazies to move up to 5th at the expense of their opponents. After sharing the first two frames, The Feathers won the next four frames to take control of the match. In the second half, The Feathers pushed on, and second wins on the night for Billy Tottle, Jordan Johnson, Callum Denton and Brian Montgomery helped the hosts claim the big win.

Looking Ahead...

The first round of the AIPL Doubles takes place next week, so the league has a one-week break, but when the league returns on the 22nd November, league leaders Vic 8-Ball host 4th placed Shoot 'Em Up in the big game of the week, with 2nd placed Misfits travelling to take on bottom side Bees Knees, and 3rd placed The C Team hosting 5th placed The Feathers. Elsewhere, 6th placed Dairy Maid Krazies are away against 9th placed The Partridge, and the match between 8th placed The Renegades and 7th placed The Ari Chicks has been postponed until Weds 20th December by mutual agreement.
