NOTE: The league game between The Renegades and The Ari Chicks was postponed and will be played on Wednesday 20th December.

Vic 8-Ball 5-7 Shoot 'Em Up

4th placed Shoot 'Em Up closed the gap to the top of the table to just seven points after a fantastic comeback victory over former leaders Vic 8-Ball, sho drop to 2nd place. The previous leaders saw themselves into a 5-3 lead early in the second half, before Shoot 'Em Up started their comeback. Second wins of the match for Stephen Nanan and captain Nicola Court helped Shoot 'Em Up into a lead, before a last-frame win for Jack Stewart secured the win for the visitors.

Bees Knees 5-7 Misfits

The defeat for Vic 8-Ball meant a win for 2nd placed Misfits would put them top, which is what they got after a 7-5 away win against bottom side Bees Knees, to move two points clear at the top of the league. Bees Knees won the first half 4-2, and extended their lead when Charles Allen won his second of the match in the second half, but Misfits, led by two wins for Andy Logan, fought back well, and claimed the win when captain Tony Festa won the final frame.

The C Team 6-6 The Feathers

3rd placed The C Team also had a chance to take over top spot, but find themselves just three points off the leaders as they were also held to a 6-6 draw, themselves held by 6th placed The Feathers. The visitors raced into a 4-1 lead early on, before The C Team won the next five frames in a row to turn the match around, including a second of the match for Angus Kay. But from 6-4 down, The Feathers fought back and claimed the draw when the pair of Callum Denton and Jordan Johnson both won their second frames of the match.

The Partridge 5-7 Dairy Maid Krazies

The final match of the week saw Dairy Maid Krazies move up into 5th place in the table after a 7-5 away win against 9th placed The Partridge. Despite leading 2-0 early on, Dairy Maid Krazies found themselves 4-2 down at the break, but won five of the remaining six frames to claim the win. There was two wins on the night for Dairy Maid Krazies pair Rupert Hawthorne and Steve Williams, and also for The Partridge's Ed Steel.

Looking Ahead...

Week 8 of the season sees the top two sides battle it out with both Misfits hosting Vic 8-Ball with the sides just two points apart so far this season. Hoping to take advantage of the top two sides facing off are 3rd placed The C Team, who travel to 7th placed The Ari Chicks, and 4th placed Shoot 'Em Up who host 8th placed The Renegades, both within striking distance of the top two. Elsewhere, 5th placed Dairy Maid Krazies are at home against bottom side Bees Knees, and 6th placed The Feathers host 9th placed The Partridge.
