The Vic Club 9-3 Shootpool Blues

Previously unbeaten Shootpool Blues suffered their first defeat of the season after The Vic Club produced a great performance to win 9-3 on the night. Despite going 1-0 down early on, The Vic Club won the next four frames to take control of the first half, and further extended that lead when Steve Marshall, Oliver Burgess and Darren Stone all won their second frames of the match.

Weavers' Beavers & Balls 2-10 The Roths

The previous result meant a win for The Roths would open up a lead at the top of the table, which is exactly what they did with a massive 10-2 away victory against 9th placed Weavers' Beavers & Balls. After winning the first frame, The Roths then found themselves 2-1 down, but turned it around and pushed on, winning all the remaining frames to claim the big win. There was also two wins each on the night for Lewis Richards, Vince King, Matt Gibson and Rory Sore.

Top John 7-5 Ari Potters

Top John remain in third place, but had to fight back from 4-2 down to narrowly win 7-5 at home against 8th placed Ari Potters. The hosts took a 2-0 lead, but Ari Potters won the next four to lead 42 at half time. A second of the night for Mark Kane was one of four straight frames as Top John went 6-4 up. A second for Josh Wook gave Ari Potters the chance of rescuing the draw, but Max Burgess won his second of the match to make sure of the win for Top John.

Wonky Newy 5-7 Dairy Maid 'A'

The final match of the week saw 5th placed Dairy Maid 'A' claim a 7-5 on their travels to 7th placed Wonky Newy. Two wins for Grant Mullender and Paul Harker had helped Dairy Maid 'A' into a 6-2 lead, but Wonky Newy fought back well to 6-5, before a final-frame win for Dairy Maid 'A' captain Kelly Byfield made sure of the away win.

Looking Ahead...

League leaders The Roths have their bye week in Week 12, and hoping to eat in to the 12 point lead with their game in hand are Shootpool Blues who host 6th placed Hot Shots. There's also a big game for position as 3rd placed Top John travel to 4th placed The Vic Club, separated by only 4 points in the table. Elsewhere, 5th placed Dairy Maid 'A' host winless 9th side Weavers' Beavers & Balls, and 7th placed Wonky Newy are away at 8th placed Ari Potters.
