The New Roth'mans' 9-3 New Zealand 'A'

Due to leaders SP Blacks not playing due to a postponed fixture, The New Roth'mans' closed the gap to just three points for the time being with a decent 9-3 home win against former neighbours New Zealand 'A'. The New Roth'mans' won the first five frames without reply to take control of the match, before two wins for Brian Lopez got New Zealand 'A' a couple of frames back. But second wins for Keith Jones, Larry Baker, Julian Lefevre and Scott Reader made sure of the win for The New Roth'mans'.

Shootpool 'A' 10-2 Shootpool Sharks

3rd placed Shootpool 'A' are only a point further back in the table, and maintained their unbeaten run in the league this season with an impressive 10-2 home win against venue rivals Shootpool Sharks. Shootpool 'A' led 2-0 and 3-1 in the first half, and managed to win each of the final seven frames to end up running away with a big win on the night. There was two wins in the match for the Shootpool 'A' trio of Kyle O'Brien, Justin Hooley and Richard Herring.

Bradmoor 'A' 5-7 Bradmoor Bullets

Bradmoor Bullets were victorious in the Bradmoor derby, claiming a narrow 7-5 win against neighbours Bradmoor 'A' to move up to 4th in the table. From 2-1 down, Bradmoor Bullets won five of the next six frames to take control of the match, which included two wins for Steve Dutton. Bradmoor 'A' fought back to 6-5 though, largely thanks to second wins on the night for David Gray and Luke Butler. But a second win of the match for Craig Pusey secured the win for Bradmoor Bullets in the final frame.

Dirty Ari 11-1 The Brickslayers

The final game of the week saw Dirty Ari fly up to 5th place in the table after a 11-1 home demolition of 9th placed The Brickslayers. There was five different Dirty Ari players who won two frames on the night, with Paul Freshwater, Jason Harper, Tim Moran, Elliot Riley and captain Kevin Smith all winning double.

Looking Ahead...

Week 12 sees leaders SP Blacks back in action as they travel to 9th placed The Brickslayers, however the big game takes place as the only unbeaten team left in the AIPL, 3rd placed Shootpool 'A', face a tough test of that record as they host 2nd placed The New Roth'mans' with the two sides just one point apart in the table as things stand. Elsewehere, 4th placed Bradmoor Bullets host 5th placed Dirty Ari in another important match for position, with 6th placed Shootpool Sharks hoping to get back to winning ways as they host bottom side SP3. The final game sees 7th placed Bradmoor 'A' go away to 8th placed New Zealand 'A'.
